Description:

This position requires the responsibility for planning, directing, and controlling the accounting functions and practices at the Whatley site. Candidate will provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS
" Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum 5 years experience in Accounting/Finance
" Minimum 5 years as a Controller
" Proficiency with MS Office, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel Applications
" Proficiency with IFS
" BA or BS degree from a four year college

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
" Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
" Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
" Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
" Responsible for the analysis and reporting of Whatley site financial data including sales, cost of sales, margin analysis, inventory valuation, manufacturing performance, income statements by product line, operational variances, accounts payable, and labor reporting
" Assist with any other duties and projects as assigned by the General Manager.
" Assist with other duties as assigned by Division and Corporate management
