Description:Abilicorp is looking for a motivated candidate who is eager to become a part of an exciting and dynamic team. This position is for a talented Developer with experience in: design, development, testing, production implementation, Systems Development Lifecycle, documentation, coding and databases.
Responsibilities will include: creation and deployment of new test scenarios as well as maintaining and enhancing existing test processes, checking data thoroughly to ensure accuracy and creating all necessary audit reporting and documentation, adhering to policies and procedures. Ability to interpret business requirements logically into test cases / scenarios is essential. Candidate must be able to detect and report problems, provide support for development to produce enhancements and timely delivery of tested software. Quality control/quality assurance practices are essential for this position. Candidate must be a team player and be willing to assist and guide as well as participate in group design and development. Must be a proven top performer and team player who enjoys challenging assignments in a high-energy and fast growing workplace.
Acts as part of a team in providing application test guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes scenarios to test complex computer platforms and applications. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
- Financial services industry experience
- Strong data manipulation, creation, loading and extracting skills
- Strong familiarity of navigating within a web environment
- Experience working with large datafiles (millions of records)
- Experience documenting utilizing systems Development Lifecycle standards
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Able to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams
- Must be able to perform under tight timeframes
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with middleware systems, web services and/or business payroll desired.
- Preferred tool experience: HP Load Runner, Performance Center, Quality Center, Integra International, SOAPScape
- Project management skills a plus
Educational Requirements:
- 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
