Description:The qualified candidate for the Senior Level QA Systems Analyst position will be responsible for testing activities surrounding CBEST QA applications, a set of applications built on varying technologies (WfXML, Web Services, DB2). Participates in the full end to end project life cycle, from analysis to production implementation with emphasis on data analysis, system testing, regression testing, and auditable documentation of results. Our candidate will have strong experience with IBM ClearQuest, experience with Mindreef SoapScope, and experience with Green Hat (Solstice) and other XML functional tools.
Additional duties include the following:
- Consults with users, providing advice and direction.
- Performs more complex analysis of business requirements and system specifications.
- Creates test plans and scripts for own projects.
- Logs tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Gives direction to less experienced analysts.
- Performs moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation.
- Provides specific guidance on defects to developers. Gives direction to less experiences analysts.
- Documents all phases of the QA System process.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-5 years work experience in the IT field.
- Proven leadership responsibilities.
- 2 years experience in middleware testing.
- 2 years experience in utilizing XML for SOAP web services testing.
- 2 years experience in creating test plans and test scenarios.
- 1 year experience in testing Weblogic, Websphere or Tomcat applications.
- 1 year experience working in a financial institution.
- Experience with Hogan CIS mainframe, DB2.
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work experience.
