QA Regression Analyst

Description:

A passion for new technologies is what would set the qualified candidate apart for the position of QA Regression Analyst. The candidate participates in regression testing activities surrounding CBEST applications, a set of applications built on web service technologies. Emphasis on automated regression testing of web services and auditable documentation of results are key position deliverables.
The QA Regression Analyst will:

• Review, enhance and execute test scripts (test cases) in preparation for Production release.
  
• Conduct functional web service testing as well as integration testing across modules/external systems.
  
• Be responsible for reporting results and defects and assisting in the resolution of existing defects.
  
• Support test planning based on analysis of requirements and design documents.
  
• Execute systems, regression, and data quality testing to ensure all development deliverables are product ready.
  
• Write/maintain test case scripts and execute document detailed results and summary report.
  
• Multi-task between current release, install activities, and prioritize tasks for next release.
  
• Monitor and resolve testing issues. May act as technical resource to other testers.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year experience with web service testing.
  
• Experience with all types of testing including systems, data quality, regression, and user acceptance.
  
• Excellent oral and written communication with ability to effectively work with onsite and remote teams.
  
• Knowledge of PC application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Vision, etc.
  
• Experience with ClearQuest.
  
• Demonstrated problem analysis and problem solving skills in a technical environment.
  
• Knowledge of financial services industry.

Educational Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work experience
