This eight-week interactive course requires five or more hours a week to complete assignments. This course offers one lesson a week, which will be sent out on Wednesdays.

All application materials must be submitted by September 5, 2008. Phone interviews will be scheduled during the week of September 9, 2008. The class will start on Wednesday, September 17, 2008.

During this eight-week course, you will build contact lists, research companies, develop an online portfolio, and practice personal branding and networking skills. You will also receive individualized coaching by a facilitator who has first-hand experience in disability employment issues.

Jim Hasse, eSight's senior content developer and facilitator for the course, created the curriculum for "Online Networking as a Job Search Tool" with this premise in mind:

The more you interact online, make networking a habit, gain insight into practical employment job-seeking strategies, establish a career focus and achieve visibility for your particular expertise the quicker you'll find meaningful work.
